I think Ben Cramer who mentioned the "Platinum 64 VISTA O/S" so I would guess that the 64 bit Windows [Vista] plus this Dual Core 64X2 is 'the' present cutting edge, yes? It doesn't work the other way. If you can't get the larger data types from the OS, if the functions don't exist, the app can't run.
